Secretary Granholm announces grant funding distributed to 15 state energy offices.
The Department of Energy selected the first round of recipients for its Energy Auditor Training grant program, allocating $27.98 million to 15 state energy offices and the American Samoa Territorial Energy Office. Energy auditors play an essential role in the energy sector, assessing the energy output of homes and industrial buildings, offering methods to conserve and strategize for optimum energy efficiency.
“There are over two million American workers in the energy efficiency sector and the demand for their skills continues to grow thanks to the Biden-Harris Investing in America agenda,” said Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm. “Today’s funding will expand our clean energy workforce as we move swiftly to deploy energy saving solutions to homes and consumers across the nation.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary Granholm to be prudent in her management of the Energy Department.
- For U.S. energy officials as they pursue energy-efficient strategies.
